Limitations to what you can read on the InkCase remain. You can upload news articles to read via the app. When it comes to e-books, it's DRM-free and files, so your Kindle e-books are off limits. Transferring e-books to the InkCase can be done using multiple methods including AirDrop and e-mail; I simply added titles to the app itself in iTunes when syncing my iPhone. Navigation and page turns are via capacitive touch controls that work reasonably well, but can be hesitant at times. Photos and Notifications Remain + New Selfie Feature Like the previous version, the InkCase i7 Plus does a great job of displaying your photos as grayscale wallpapers, although the app can still be finicky about converting the image files during upload. Usually it was fine, but sometimes it would seem to stall and hang for 15 minutes until I gave up. If you're willing to give permission for the app to access personal data like your location, fitness data and calendar, it can also display widgets with live updates.
